At Converdy I worked as a UX/UI designer and support agent, helping clients build high-converting websites without coding. I worked with developers, business stakeholders and users to deliver functional designs and support experiences.
Status: freelance engagement, May 2018 to February 2020.
Tools: Figma and the Converdy drag-and-drop page builder.

The challenge
A page builder lives or dies by its building blocks. Users needed an easy builder interface and a rich library of ready-made sections and templates that were designed to convert.
My approach
Improving the builder
I started with a project to improve the drag-and-drop builder in Figma, crafting interfaces that let users build their sites easily.
A library of sections
To enrich the tool, I created more than 200 pre-made sections. I analysed competitor page builders, identified their best-performing designs, and recreated those layouts for the Converdy library.

Listening to users
I joined weekly meetings with the development team and user feedback sessions. I also managed a Facebook community of over 5,000 members, where I collected and bundled feedback on the tool and brought users’ challenges into the design process.
Key challenges
Designing for conversion
To show what Converdy could do, I added conversion techniques to the prototypes: scarcity badges, dynamic countdown timers and more, with animations and loading effects to improve the experience.

A growing design system
I handled many design challenges, from updating the design system and UI components to improving user flows and mobile optimization.

Outcomes
Delivered
- 200+ sections for the templates and the visual builder.
- A feedback loop with a community of 5,000+ members, feeding the design process.
Results: specific figures can’t be shared for contractual reasons.
